Established in 2022 Busy Bird Coffee is a family run café and coffee roastery with a big focus on great products and moments to savour. Andrew, an experienced coffee production expert and Janelle a creative with absolute attention to detail, they combined skill sets to produce a banging good house roast coffee blend that can be enjoyed in a warm, welcoming space.

For the name they took inspiration from their very own VERY busy bird Phoenix who had them sipping coffee at the extremely early hours every day over recent years.

With a second busy little boy born shortly after opening the café (who found himself working the till from a few weeks old,) you can be sure that they understand just how magic a pause in their little local café can be and just how important a great coffee really is!

FUN FACTS ABOUT US

Andrew went from studying computer science to running bustling city cafes and then managing one of Australia’s biggest roasteries. Ask him to chat through his manual roasting software and process and you’ll see the two worlds combine perfectly!

Janelle spent most of her adult life traveling the world as a freelance performing artist - Much of the café food menu is inspired from her appreciation for the European cooking styles that became her norm overseas. Great quality ingredients, done simply but well!
